My role as a TV Presenter remains a joy after more than 25 years. Now it's a thrill for me as a Civil Celebrant to share my experiences with you on your special occasion, to be there with you and provide my love, support and empathy when you need it most.
When I am recording my commercials, or presenting on a show, I’m fortunate to be able to communicate with a lot of people behind the scenes, My wonderful clients, creative directors, and of course my production team, affectionately known as my ‘other’ family, and I love it!
From analysing creatives and scripts, working to a schedule or fine-tuning the details, my intent is always to capture the essence of the brief and deliver it communicating the only way I know how ….with warmth, sincerity and passion. Personally, there is nothing more rewarding for me than to step back from my work with a sense of pride at a job well done!
As a wedding or funeral celebrant, I get to personally engage with you and do what I love the most communicate directly, in your world for you, your family and friends. How exciting is that!
It’s a natural progression for me and it’s this that I bring to you … for your special occasion or personal life experience. And why is this so important? Because at the end of the day, it’s you that really matters!!
I work inner and outer Melbourne and the Surf Coast and would love to hear from you and welcome the opportunity to meet for a chat and find out how together we can make your coming event truly memorable.
A Civil Marriage Ceremony is a wedding that takes place without any religious affiliation and meets the legal requirements of the locale. As a Civil Celebrant, it is a privilege to officiate marriage ceremonies throughout Australia and my commitment to you is to provide a professional, passionate and friendly service. Your big day will be considered and handled with the serious energy it requires, but at the same I like to take a fun, a light hearted approach, without dismissing the important aspects of ‘creating’ a ceremony with you, “just for you”.
It’s important that we get to know each other a little first and I suggest an informal meeting is the best way. Once committed we have our official meeting covering the creation of your ceremony and all legalities. Communication continues until the creation of your ceremony is complete, ready for your rehearsal day if required. The final step is where it all comes together - your big day - your Wedding Day.
I will do my upmost to help create, with you, your unique Wedding Ceremony by offering advice and suggestions wherever needed.
What to expect:
An initial meeting and this can be either in person or via Skype where we get to know each other a little and you get to ask all the questions! We will talk through your ideas to date and your expectations and should you wish to proceed, I would ask that you complete a booking form, sign a celebrant service agreement and pay a booking fee to secure my services. I then forward to you a wedding kit which includes sample vows, readings, rituals and documents for our next meeting.
The official meeting – this is such a fun process where we discuss together the creation of your ceremony and write the first draft. The legal documentation is also a part of this meeting attending to lodgement of the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), once I have sighted the relevant identification documents. We will then correspond as often as required until the ceremony is complete.
Rehearsal – If required, usually within 2 weeks of your wedding day (venue permitting).
Wedding day – I will arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time and will dress according to your colour theme! Ceremony time is usually 20-30 minutes.

A Funeral Ceremony, Celebration of Life Ceremony, Memorial Service, Graveside Committal or a Wake are all safe and supportive environments where an individuals’ life can be honoured, affirmed and validated in a sensitive and respectful way.
I place great importance on my role as a Funeral Celebrant creating an Order of Service that captures a person’s essence and uniqueness, celebrating their goodness and their life. My intention is to create and officiate a farewell ceremony that your loved one would have wanted, and that is meaningful to family and friends.
You may find my Funeral and Memorial testimonial page helpful including letters and cards I have received from many of the wonderful, loving and appreciative families who I feel privileged to have worked with over the years.
The best path forward:
If you require my services via your funeral arranger you can inform them to notify me, or alternatively you can call or email me first and I shall liaise with them.
What to expect:
Our meeting: Once I have confirmation I will call to arrange a meeting with you to discuss and compile the Order of Service. Who attends this meeting varies according to the circumstances. We will consider the type of ceremony you require according to your needs and beliefs. Together we will decide on the format: music, readings, poems, rituals, the eulogy, special tributes and speakers, providing you with my resource material and suggestions. This meeting requires 1.5 – 2 hours.
